Would this count as conceptual manipulation?

In Isekai Ojisan the main character have the abilities to speak with the spirits and command them to basically cast spell for him.

Later chapter stated how Spirit existence work.

That, uh, doesn't tell us anything.

What kind of vague "phenomenon" or "concept"? What they do and represent here in the story?

Spirit exist in everything basically. They kinda govern the elements, since there's Spirit of Wind/Fire/Water etc.etc. and even govern other esoteric things like memories, sound or even transformation.

So, they are like, an abstract existance, each controlling something specific like an element, a mental thing, and the change of something to another thing?

Is kinda close to it, but do they encompass the entirety of the thing they control and it's variations? Are the existance of those spirits and their object bound to one another, meaning that if one exists the other will keep existing?
