Why were the tiers of many Marvel characters changed to unknown?

Because many of the tiers were based on powerscaling from other characters and we stopped doing that for Marvel and DC characters.

Beyond what Azathoth and Darkness552 said, it is also because lots of the statistics were completely unmotivated and seemed randomnly made up. I will have to go through the DC profiles as well in the near future, but just maintaining the wiki keeps me very busy, so it is hard to find the time and energy.

You should call some of the other DC experts or admins on this wiki to help you out.

Antvasima you should take a load off. I'd hate to see you this stressed.

Nobody except Lord Kavpeny and Darkness552 seems to want to help out with the actual admin work. We have almost 1 million visits every month now, and I have to do 80-90% of that part of the workload myself. It is incredibly taxing.

I dunno. I wrote the rules together with Lord Kavpeny, and don't know if other visitors understand them properly. Nevertheless, I might make a thread about wanting help with the DC characters tomorrow.

Nah. According what I have heard, they think that we are dumb and that our system is dumb. They probably wouldn't like the new power-scaling rules either. But I managed to fix the Marvel profiles. I hope that I will get the time and energy to fix the DC ones as well before I am finally completely burned out and have to leave the wiki.

The OBD is incredibly biased towards comics.


They would probably rate all of the cosmic entities of Marvel and DC as high 1-A.


Either way their ranking system is incredibly flawed and arbitrary. Their made up terms like multi-megaverse, omniverses, and metaverse are such useless terms to use when ranking characters, and they are trying to discount dimensions as legitimate feats, even though higher spatial dimensions are obviously bigger than lower spatial dimensions.

if they talk about us oh well its all noise who cares, if they dont agree with what we do then thats fine its their opinion we should not be affected by it

Well, We have one of them from OBD as an member of the Calc group and used their Calcs lot as well. Would we least need their help a bit?

Probably not, since they contradict us, and like I said, they would probably rate Marvel and DC higher than we already rate them.
