I'm quite certain that 40k is as comprehensive if not moreso than Warhammer Fantasy, but why are its profiles so bad and incomplete compared to Fantasy?

the ones who knew about the verse got banned and they were waiting for the horus heresy book to finish before updating it

Based on the quality of some profiles, "knew" is a bit of a strong word

Most of them are extremely outdated (Couple years now), work is currently being done on them and a series of CRTs will be released to try and fix the profiles some.
Theres quite alot of go through and there is some waiting being done until the “Seige of Terra” books end.
