How powerful are characters A and B if their clash generates enough energy to power a machine capable of reconstructing the universe and its branching timelines (Destroying and then recreating the Spacetime continuum)?

The machine demands an unimaginable amount of energy, far beyond what its creators envisioned. Therefore, character A had to use his full power, combined with B’s, to fuel it.
