What tier would splitting Pangaea be?

If a character's punch managed to split the supercontinent Pangaea into the current continents today, what tier would that be? 6-A? High 6-A?
Depends. You splitting it down the latitude or the longitude? Different lengths for north-south crack visibility and east-west crack visibility.

Technically speaking, if the character split Pangaea at speeds comparable to continental drift, then by KE it'd be Street Level. (Tectonic Plates are VERY heavy, but also VERY^2 slow, so it ends up being 1500 joules for the Eurasian plate.)

Going by the split itself, the width of the crack matters. A split visible from space is gonna be way higher than a split the size of the character's fist.

Pangaea had split (had splat?) into multiple continents, so there's going to be several lengths across latitude and longitude

LMFAO, just near the punch of Mike Tyson/Frank Bruno.

Split.

Ah, I see, the feat is about splitting it into various continents.

No, like they didn't drift into place over time, the punch was just so strong they split immediately and were blown away into the places they are in now.

Immediately like 1 panel standard 5 second timeframe?
Probably Planet level; that's a mass comparable to Very Big Asteroids / Dwarf Planets being moved across a large fraction of Earth's circumference in a few seconds, which would approach Sub-Relativistic speeds.

Immediately like the pieces neared Earth's escape velocity?
Likely around Moon level; that's Planetoid masses flying near asteroid impact speed.

Immediately like in an hour?
Multi-Continent level, that's [X] mass at Supersonic Speed blahblah see reasoning above.

KE is a fickle mistress.

Thanks for this.
