Context: There's a forest that completely and utterly dwarfs the Amazon Forest to the point of insignificance, what tier would be turning that forest to ashes in a single attack?

It depends of how much it dwarfs the Amazon, but as the Amazon extends over most of South America, it's likely at least a 6-B to High 6-B feat I guess

Definitely High 6-B, since the Amazon at its widest points stretches cross country (3762 km at the very least stretching from the Western end of South American in Peru in some town named Ayabaca to the East of South America, falling just short of the Brazilian town of Ze Doca, half this is 1881 km which is our radius), and using the StarDestroyer Nuke calculator to achieve a near-total fatalities radius of 1881 km you'd need around 396000000 megatons of TNT or 396 teratons of TNT (Small Country level), and said explosion would definitely dwarf most of northern South America by a massive margin.

Ok then. So it's High 6-B then. But that could be much higher depends on how much it dwarfs the Amazon
