What level would causing such chain-reaction be?

So there is this one guide ( For a certain video game verse ) that explains how planet busting is done in the verse. It mentions that the attack is shot into the ground and reacts to the planet's internal gravitational field, building and warping it until the planet blows itself apart. So essentially, I'm wondering would this still be planet level? How much power would it take to cause this chain-reaction to an Earth-sized planet? Because I don't think that's the same as overcoming the GBE of a planet. It moreso seems like the attack uses the GBE to it's advantage if anything.

since it does mention gravitational field and warping it by attacking it
it could be a planet level at GBE level at maximum since the rest of the destruction would be as the result of GBE being overcome and not because the power causes it

in my opinion that is
