What kind of regen is this?

Two semi-nonexistent characters fighy, and both stalemate each other until one pulls a gambit and erases them both "beyond nothing", into a plane of existence only they are in. They state that they would both regen unless they are killed by the others weapon. What type of regen is this and what level of regen negation is it?
