Everyone involved kept downplaying Number Man's capabilities while wanking Rex's skill and the only person who could properly defend him was a busy staff member who never showed up again. Then when they went up against a character with actual supporters (OPM) everyone called out Rex's bullshit, revealing him to be an unskillful sob.
I should have ******* won that first round but lack of supporters and wankers stopped me. Now I always try to put a Parahumans character in every tourney I can to see if it'll happen again. So far, not yet
