VS Thread OP Story and Challenges

Suggestion: Batman vs Joker (persona)

batman and joker are both somewhat vigilantes. they also fight to stomp out the corrupted in society. they became who they are because of a crime. they are in black, they col, police commin for they ass

Bang vs Kaku is a pretty cool idea imo
Shaori vs Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist, battle of martial arts anime old dudes, both having gotten their asses kicked when they were young and completely changed their ways

Sun Wukong (jttw) vs The Red Ribbon Army (dragon ball). (When ever a dude makes the profile)

since sun wukong is basicly the main insparation of son goku (both having a cliud as a ride, a size shifting stick, and mastery over martial arts.) the red ribbon army would fight a very familiar foe.

Feet tap lightly against the cracked roads of the city streets, a young woman moving through rows of dilapidated buildings. Nostra, a city overrun by the corrupt, by villains and heroes not far removed. No one in their right mind would go wandering the streets alone like this. No…such a person would either have to be exceptionally strong…or exceptionally foolish.

And she was the former.

Ihwa. Her white hair flowing ever so slightly in the wind, confidently strutted across the city, her sharp, red eyes scanning the perimeter. Her eyes focused on a spot on the horizon, a building standing a few miles or so from her current location.

She needed to get back to them. Back to the Nameless…and back to Nenya. There had been a sudden change of plans, courtesy of Engen himself, and they needed to move…now. Apparently, some mercenaries had gotten wind of the Torch’s location…and they would be clambering like dogs to be the ones to find it first. Ihwa didn’t exactly mind taking them on herself…but would follow her leader's orders…for now, anyway.

She was…knocked out of her contemplation by an arrow, fired by an unseen assailant from the window of one of the abandoned buildings. It was a perfect shot, all things considered, lined up precisely to pierce through her temple…ripping the viscera of her brain to shreds and painting her insides on the concrete below. And by all rights, that is exactly what should have happened.

…If they were dealing with a normal human.

At the last moment, with seemingly impossible speed, Ihwa ducked, the arrow piercing through a nearby wall…embedding itself deeply within the material. It was a… abnormally powerful shot…a custom-made bow, something no two-bit crook would have access to.

Without skipping a beat, Ihwa grasped a nearby pole, ripping it from the ground with a single, mighty tug. Electricity coated her body as she whirled around, assuming a stance akin to a javelin thrower…she flung the makeshift projectile toward the direction of the shooter, the metal crashing through the wall of the nearby building.

“SONUVA #%?!”

A string of curses could be heard, as a masked man leaped from the nearby building, dodging only moments before the projectile would have impacted his chest. He flipped, and spun in mid-air with perfected ease before landing with a soft thud on the pavement. Ihwa not missing a beat, dashed towards him, whirling her body around to launch a kick aimed right towards his temple. It was fast, and sharp. Displaying technical skills that could only come from years of experience. Any ordinary thug would have been laid out from the first strike.

The man, raised a large, metal shield, a split second before the kick impacted his flesh, the resounding noise of skin against metal echoing across the city with a deafening clang.

“The footage doesn’t do ya justice, toots. Yer better than those smucks give you credit for…” A deep voice sounded from the skull covering the man’s face, his cape flapping behind him with the sudden movement. With a seeming practiced ease…he deflected her kick-off of his shield.

Before responding with one of his own. It was the same motion…the same speed…the same technique that she had used, down to the most subtle twitches of her body, launched straight at her neck. Dodged by a hair breath as Ihwa jumped backwards, the white pirate boots striking against nothing but air.

The man drew a sword from one of the many holsters decorating his costume, pointing it at the woman.

“...How about ya just play dead for a bit? I’ll leave ya alive long as I can get the girl yer travelin’ with.” The man said. Now that she got a look at the man…he was armed to the teeth. The bow and arrow he had used against her were strapped across his back, a gun holster decorating the side of his belt. In hand a shield…and a sword.

“...Not a chance.” Ihwa said. She eyed the sword the man was carrying, a soft smirk spreading across her lips.

She wanted it. And she would have it.

The man sighed, getting into a stance.

“...Ya know ya can’t win right? Anything ya can do, I can do better. Like the song, see? I got somethin’ called-”

The man was interrupted from his speech, as Ihwa jumped forward, clad in electricity. He raised his shield, barely able to react as the woman slammed both feet against the surface in a vicious drop kick. The man stumbled from the sudden force…giving Ihwa just enough time to land on the ground…before transitioning into a vicious left hook. It slammed heavily into the man’s head…yet didn’t knock him out, the man rolling across the ground in the direction of the blow to decrease the damage dealt.

“...You talk too much.” Ihwa muttered. She leaped forward, preparing to strike the man again. As she charged, however, the man grasped her arm, using her own momentum to throw her against a nearby wall. A judo throw…and a rather high-level one at that. Ihwa quickly got to her feet…just in time to dodge the volley of arrows loosed by the man’s bow, slamming heavily into the wall behind her.

“Spent too much time fighting that Spider-Man kid, picking up his bad habits.” The man muttered. He knocked another arrow into his bow.

“But...I ain’t missing this time.”

Ihwa simply got into her stance again, the two warriors staring each other down.

Wanted to write one for a match up I think is pretty fun, thematically. Taskmaster vs Ihwa
