Some minor calc issue I want some input on.

I have a feat of carbon fibre getting vaporized and am thinking about how to calc it.
I found this for specific heat and melting point.
That alone would give us 800J/g*K * (3657 °C - 20°C) = 2909600 J/g.
But I'm not too sure about that. Also not sure how to go beyond that. Like the phase change energy and the heat for vaporization.
I would guess the carbon fibre actually disintegrates into carbon gas or something at some point, but idk. (if it disintegrates quickly I probably don't have to account for reactions with external oxygen... right?)

Anyone got any ideas regarding that?
If not, do you guys think the above would be an acceptable low-end for the value?

maybe, but for now I will keep bumping this

So would the above estimation be useable then? Or should I use 3500°C instead of the melting point?

Well, that's basically the same as what I got for the melting point of carbon fibre, so I guess I can just use that value.
