V2 Ultrakill vs. Xenomorph (Punished V2 vs Alien) (1-1-0)

Don’t really know anything about either but just going off of profiles it seems Xenomorph using its Class K LS to physically rip apart V2 with the help of Acid may be a win con. Assuming Xenomorph can even catch V2 that is as it seems V2 has much better mobility.

sounds like good wincons for both yea

Pretty sure the Xenomorph has no real wincons here. Xenomorph is about 1.6 times stronger (4596900 J vs 7472624 J) and has a much higher LS but can't really make use of its AP and LS advantages due to V2's mobility. It just kinda gets shot by V2 until it dies since it can't reach V2 due to their better range and likely won't be able to tag V2 with its acid, so this seems like a stomp to me.

V2 is just gonna keep running around and railcoining Xeno here. Like, xeno ain't catching up and outskilling a bot who is comparable (albeit still inferior) in skill to V1

Added a new location, which should give the Xenomorph a better chance here due to the place's size. It can make better use of its crawling and acid splitters stuff should work more effectively now

This V2 isn't the same as the original one, she should just scale her skills to Jack (who is still really whack but uh, ya know, not on V1's level)
Also, saying that this Xeno can't catch up and outskilling this V2 is kind of an overstatement for the robot. There are literally only two instances where she gets into close range and both times she ends up getting dunked on lol

Since there in a much more enclosed space now, V2 doesn't have much room to use their mobility. The Xeno can pretty easily just run up and grab them with their superior LS then tear into them and considering how fast Xeno's can move it can probably cover the starting distance before V2 can land any meaningful hits.
A bit weird for me tbh, since V2's movement speed is actually quite comparable to their combat speed. Someone like Jack and Mr. Bullet can perceive bullets and missiles as much slower than they should be, and they can move relative to them. So I wonder if speed is equalized like this, would V2 necessarily be slower or just as fast as Xeno running-wise ? (the speed equalization rules aren't explained very well + i'm stupid)

If it’s the latter then V2 could slide in different directions when Xeno charges at them. They’re pretty good at adjusting their movement plus the lack of close combat feats makes me think Xeno couldn't just easily grab them when they don't even want to melee in the first place

and i will just start using she/her pronouns for V2 again, using they/them is starting to bore me

Since V2 has a faster combat speed fast their speed is getting equalized to the Xeno so they would be as fast combat speed wise but afaik the Xeno can still have a faster travel speed since V2 doesn't have Travel speed feats on profile. Then again Xeno's profile also doesn't have a stated Travel speed on profile, and they just have Travel speed feats listed in their speed rating so I might be dumb and be misunderstanding speed equalization rules.

Does V2 slide way if Jack runs up to them in the boss fight? Looking at the gameplay, it doesn't seem like they move away if the player gets close, but I might be missing it. And if they do try to slide way there prob just gonna run into a wall or one of the steel cylinders due to being in an enclosed space. Also Punished V2 doesn't really have any close combat feats and just has shooting feats and Xeno's can sneak up on and overpower trained marines and pilots so it shouldn't have that hard of a time just grabbing V2.

V2's profile did say "and is even somewhat more versatile than him" which essentially means she is also comparable to Jack in travel speed. If the rules only equalize combat speed then V2 should also be as fast as or faster than Xeno because uh, rockets and bullets are fast, and Jack is, kind of relative to them
Can someone explain the speed equalization for me again dawg

V2 doesn't seem to slide even when Jack gets close to her yes, game mechanic-wise she just do that randomly, but I doubt she would choose not to slide and dodge something that looks 1000 times better at close combat and is charging at her at like 50 meters per sec. Also if you watch the fight again, when she slides until she hits the wall, she quickly moves in the other direction, it's kind of her thing. The place is enclosed but doesn't have many obstacles, so sneaking probably wouldn't work very well i feel

Jack scales to rockets and bullets in combat speed not travel speed which are different things that need to be noted on a speed rating. Just cause he react to rockets and bullets doesn't mean he has the same travel speed, he would need to run at the exact same speed as the projectiles to scale to them in travel speed.

Here are the speed equalization rules.

Punished V2 doesn't do anything outside of their boss in this game so we only have the boss to go off for how they fight. Since they don't move away when Jack gets close, they won't move when the Xeno gets close.
Also if you watch the fight again, when she slides until she hits the wall, she quickly moves in the other direction, it's kind of her thing.
From what I can tell V2 just kinda bounces off which, considering the low celling, would just bring her right into the Xeno's arms.

Jack's profile did list his travel speed just like Xeno's and the scans clearly showed that he perceive, react and moves relative to rockets and bullets, which is why I said "kind of"

Eh just because she doesn't try to move in the gameplay doesn't mean she won't actually try to move when Xeno get close to her. Again, she's someone who tries to keep her distance and use her flexibility to slide and/or dodge, not throwing hands

If you watch it again, that's just her jumping, she never bounces when hitting walls. Also, she can stop sliding midway to adjust her direction, so uh, there's that i guess

Fighting relative to rockets and bullets is still combat speed afaik. For it to be travel speed he would need to be able to actively run faster than the rockets and bullets.

She doesn't seem to instantly move away if the Player get close and actively slides in their direction so she isn't afraid to be in close range with a foe.

Think I'm gonna lock in my vote for the Xenomorph. More often than not it should be able to grab and restrain V2 with it's much higher LS then tear into her with its higher AP due to being in an enclosed space that doesn't allow her to fully use her mobility. Even if they can't grab her immediately, they have the pain tolerance to not flinch at bullets to critical parts of the body and Dura advantage to help them power though her shots until they eventually pin her down. Theres also the chance V2 gets hit by the Xeno's acid from it spiting it on her or it just landing on her after it gets shot, which will melt though V2 with ease. Can considering the Xeno is going to be running right at V2 its very likely its acid blood is just gonna land on V2 and take them out.

Btw why did you use a Xenomorph? Peeps like Robocop or a Predator are in a similar AP range and is a fairer fight for Punished V2 since they can fight at a range.

Alrighty vote counted

I actually did think about Robocop and might make him fight Punished V2 after this
As for Predator, I forgor
