But in episode one, it is stated the Hanoi Knight that was attacking the city would have destroyed LINK VRAINS (Cyber world where people take avatars of themselves) with Cracking Dragon, which is stated to be an alternate world to the real one.
He defeated that dragon with Code Talker, his "dark magician".

In episode 2, after Yusaku beats the Hanoi Knight, he attempts to destroy himself in the virtual world to kill Yusaku in the real one, but Ignis (The alien thingy that lives inside of him) is able to restrain and literally delete the knight from existence, both in the real and VRAINS world.
So, Universal / haxed Protagonist in three episodes? Crazy huh.
