So there's this little snippet from the official Tsubaraya Productions Global Website that said Emerium Energy destroys the atomic structure of the target

Special Moves- Emerium Beam

Emerium energy, which is stored in Ultraseven’s body, is irradiated instantaneously through the Beam Lamp located on the forehead and rapidly destroys the atomic structure of the enemy's body.

Beside Ultraseven, there's also other Ultra that uses Emerium naturally or through Seven's power. They are:

• Ultraman Zero, Seven's son who also uses Emerium Energy
• Ultraman Ginga Strium, who have the power of Ultraseven through the Strium Brace
• Ultraman Orb Emerium Slugger, who's a fusion using the Seven and Zero card, which contained the powers of the respective ultra, and was directly shown to use the Emerium Beam
• Ultraman Geed Solid Burning (no profile yet), Same deal with Orb, uses the Seven Ultra Capsule as a part of his fusion form, and was also shown to use the Emerium Beam
• Ultraman Taiga (no profile yet), who have the Plasma Zero-let which contained Zero's powers, which includes his Emerium Slash
• Ultraman Z Alpha Edge (no profile yet), who like Orb and Geed, uses Seven as a part of his fusion, and was directly shown to use the Emerium Beam

Two Ultras have also resisted the effect of the Emerium Beam

• Ultraman Ace, who was hit with the Emerium Beam when Ace Killer copied the Ultra Brothers abilities
• Ultraman Zero, who was hit by Robot Seven's Emerium Beam
