Currently the inage we use for Transmutation is kinda confusing, and doesn't represent the power well.

So I suggest we replace it with this:
AdventurousHonorableAdeliepenguin-max-1mb.gif

Easily understandable, clear, and comes from a more well known franchise

That's true, while the scan is transmutation to these who understand the mechanics of the verse, to a lot of users, the scan is simply weapon creation, while Majin Buu scan is blatant in all aspects and way more known
Tbh, is FMA transmutation even... transmutation? It is called so, but by our standards transmutation is entirely changing an object’s structure, something FMA alchemists explicitly can’t do.

FMA dudes are capable of that....they are just prohibited by law to do so.

Prime example....gold creation...for obvious reason.

Dr. Robotnik’s Roboticizer would be better as it more important to its plot

I agree

I haven't read the novels, but from the movies it looks like paralysis inducement/muscle seizure
Nah, the movies showed them as statue-like, which isn’t a function of paralysis inducement

Even calls the victims “Petrified”
