Transformation of Quotes

To keep it simple, is it allowed to transform/rewrite character quotes for visual cohersion and-or grammatical correctness? What I mean with that is in case of a series that is badley translated/localized or uses formatting that only makes sense because in the series itself and would look terrible when written out in a text box like we do on our profiles

If the series itself has shit translations then it shouldn't have profiles to begin with.
