This is a minor thing I found while rereading OT2 and OT4 a while ago, but never got around to puting in a CRT. Basically, when Touma is injured by a serial killer wielding a poisoned knife it's mentioned that the extensive use of chemicals in esper power development has the side effect of giving them a resistance to poison, much like what happened with another Kamachi character, Biondetta Shiroyama, and her constant use of antibiotics plus other medicines.

OT4 Chapter 1 Part 4

Kamijou frantically rolled away and dodged it, but the knife still grazed his face.

Just a light cut.

But at that moment, Kamijou lost his balance. He collapsed onto the ground, unable to get up. He was sweating profusely, and felt like vomiting.

(Poi…son? Damn it…what did he apply on that…?)

The action of rubbing the knife with the cloth was to apply poison.

It was said that among some minority tribes in Africa, they would apply poisonous caterpillar fluids on the tips of the spears before hunting. Maybe this was a similar poison. Kamijou's body had developed a rather decent resistance due to Academy City's training, but he couldn't prevent the power of the poison from taking effect.

Kamijou's vision became blurry, and then darker.

This would obviously apply to Touma and also to every esper that goes through the regular Power Curriculum, aka everyone but the Sisters who have different chemicals (and have not been receiving those chemicals for as long as regular espers). Gunha is also possibly out, we don't know how the curriculum deals with him and his Gemstone powers.

It seems to make sense, and one question, would higher level espers should have a higher resistance or would all espers have the same level of resistance?

The degree of resistance could possibly vary a little for higher espers like Level 5s that might have received better development and drugs. Without any other examples, there's not really a way to tell.

This seems fine to me as well.

That is fine, yes. I will unlock the pages for you. Tell me here when you are done.
