Time Stopping and Resistances

I've seen this popping up lately in a few threads.

If a character can Time Stop, does it mean that they are resistant to other Time Stoppers by default, or do they get stopped anyways if they don't also have resistance to it listed in their profiles?

I used to think it was the former, but I've seen some claiming that it is the latter.

Why would having Time Stop make you automatically resistant to other Time Stoppers?

No, because almost all time stoppers are resistant to their own time stop.

Dio got caught in Jotaro's time stop despite being able to do it himself.

Because they have the power to move in stopped time.

It's like Dio vs Jotaro, where Dio only got stopped by Jotaro's time stopping after his own limit of moving in stopped time (9 seconds) ended.

Time Stoppers almost always only have resistance to their own Time Stop. Doesn't mean it extends to others.

If she's been caught in a time stop, she doesn't have resistance to time stop, it's that simple.
