Anyway, to answer your question...I'd say Thunder would take a liking with NM and even sympathize with him once he starts talking about his own issues and such. As I said before, they both share similar feelings and think similarly. With McQueen's stand, they both can achieve both of their own desires. That's pretty simple. I don't know where you getting this whole thing about being "annoying" and him "yelling" from but even if that were the case, TM wouldn't really just throw em off like that. That's not him at all. Being worthless is just exactly what both of these are, he would hear him out and then kill himself which activates the stand.
