TBF, they do have roughly comparable skill and Thragg has such advantages as being able to fly.

Considering how hard he scales above the average Space Marine, 10 meters apart Calgor ain't missing, he shreds Thragg to bits with his duraneg bolters and if somehow the gap is closed i'd give the cqc skill advantage to Calgor although the massive LS difference paints a funny picture.
