Thoughts on Wargreymon's size change?

Personally I've always liked how Wargreymon was smaller than it's prior evolutions, it made it seem more optimized. Like it was stronger without sacrificing speed, sort of like how computer technology gets more powerful while also becoming more compact as it develops. Turning him into basically just a kaiju is kind of disappointing imo.
