Childe sees him and he recognizes him and realizes that it is Thor, the God of Thunder. Childe prepares the signal to fight. Thor saw that and decided to raise his hammer and prepare to fight him.

Meanwhile Childe: Gifted normally, Genius combatant (At age 14, Childe is said to have mastered all forms of weaponry except the bow in just 3 months of training in the Abyss. He was conscripted into the Fatui within the same year, his father hoping that military life would tame him, only for the young Ajax to begin single-handedly overwhelming fully-trained and armored soldiers with ease. His prowess on the battlefield is partly attributed to his skill as a tactician and strategist, carefully forming his attack plan based on observations of his immediate situation and his opponent's abilities. In the battle against the Traveler, he displayed clear superiority in skill despite the Traveler's years of experience over an unquantifiable amount of time as an immortal traveling between worlds)

Thor has more far experience than Childe
 
Finally can actually respond to this.

Thor's main thing in this fight is LS, as Tartaglia resists his lightning and is an all around Combat Genius, meaning I doubt it's take long for him to start beating up Thor, as Thor struggled with Earthly people like Tony Stark who isn't exactly a combat expert by this point, and his only feats of mastery are making earth warriors look like chumps... the same thing a 14 year old Tartaglia does, who would likely be no diffed by his older counterpart in skill alone (no duh but sometimes people need it to be stated).
However Tartaglia can just... teleport, or go intangible, so Thor's LS doesn't even matter in the long run because grapples mean nothing to Tartaglia here

Combine that with the fact that He can essentially overdrive his power with his delusion and his foul legacy transformation turning into an even bigger threat, it's safe to say that alot of Thor's versatility is cut out, he's being outgunned in AP and Durability, having to deal with dozens of arrows that will likely blow a hole in his torso, and several other things.

Tatsumi basically fights himself but less depressing (concluded)

These are literally the same character and no one can convince me otherwise 3rd Form Tatsumi: 9 VS Foul Legacy Final Form Tartaglia: Incon: Speed is equalized. Both are in character. (they both kill anyways) Both are low 7-B Otherwise standard rules.
