The Ultra Series Content Revision/Upgrade

Okay, this is weird, I was messing around with the angsize calculator and got bored and tried putting the 1st number's mid-end joules into it's tons of tnt equivalent again and got, 39.533 TenaKILOtons instead.... What??? Isn't that like, Large Star Level??? I could swear that I did NOT alter the numbers in any way....

EDIT, I did it again and got the same numbers still...

NVM, I put KILOjoules into tnt in the converter, that's why...

Hang on, regarding the angsize calculator(You probably won't know much), if I already know the angle and size(I had to use an actual protractor, lol), will that be okay?

Also, how do you find the distance between the last and first distance of planets? By finding its' angle from its' center?

I know, it's one of the more impressive feats but hey, I'm currently focused on getting vacuumon's planet pull calculated. Tell me if you find any more feats. It's possible the verse may may be upgraded exponentially with that guy alone.

Another somewhat important question, due to them being (though not literally) Giants of Light, would they somehow be resistant to powers that sorta classifies as negative powers for example, Soul and Mind Manipulation? Like, because of their nature, they reject the powers that was aimed towards them.

There's actually several examples of this like in one of Ultraseven's cases, Banderas was using the people of a village by mind controlling them after corrupting their souls but due to him being a giant of light, he is unaffected by it, signifying immunity towards that kind of power.

Maybe another question should be, would intensifying a negative emotion on a human like greed to corrupt them count as Soul Manipulation?

Also, would ignoring the effects of Spatial Distortion be considered resistance towards it?

I'm sure I have more questions but I'll save 'em for later.

It depends on whether magnifying the emotion was done by mind manipulation or soul manipulation.

Demonstrated resistance to spatial distortion should count, yes.

Unproven speculation other resistances, should not be listed, however.

Hmm, well at least I got one of them confirmed.

Would bypassing the laws of physics also count as DN?

Damn, I should really find more feats involving souls and spirits in the series.

Hmm, would forcefully transforming your opponents into something else, say an action figure, ignore durability? Oh wait, apparently it's just sealing... Hold it, inncorporating seals in an attack negates durability right?

One question I myself found dumb is, would having a beam with soul-damaging properties and being resistant to it also give you soul resistance?

I think the corruption part, I should've been a bit more specific, I meant, corrupting the heart. It may come off as a surprise, but the ultra series is real vague when it comes to explaining how stuff works but from what I understand, that sorta meant their soul... Yeah.

1) DN?

2) It depends on the rules of the fiction in question. Sometimes it only works with far weaker characters, and sometimes not.

3) If it was reflected back at the sender? Possibly yes, but again, it depends. Sometimes characters are automatically immune to their own energy attacks.

DN? Durability Negation. But yeah, ignoring physics would mean DN right?

On sealing part? I think it didn't quite matter as in the final episode of one of their series, an ultra fought against the big bad and overpowered him, only equalled when bad man got his weapon back and was immediately defeated after getting hit by his sealing beam. Not to mention, big bad also sealed nearly hundreds of ultras and monsters during the beginning of the series.

Not neccessarily reflected sometimes even completely copied by their enemies and yeah, they were still able to get up and put up a fight.

1) Again, it depends on whether or not the fiction in question subscribes to the rule that a higher power level allows a character to ignore such attacks. I am probably the wrong person to ask about this.

2) Okay, then it seems legitimate.

3) Okay. I suppose that this also seems acceptable then.

1) So, acting in defiance of the laws of physics isn't DN? I thought it was sorta similar to Magic, oh well. Also, if one who does not have magic is powered up by magic, does that give them that power?

2) Alright then, that's concluded.

3) Wait so, resisting your own beam which has soul-damaging properties gives you resistance to that? Well, the mind thing is also accepted then?

What about the corruption of the heart though? It's the one 2 posts above yours.

Also do you know what would influencing a change in the future be? As in, in the latest series, there's a person who has accurate premonitions yet the ultra at the time managed to convince by being that changing force. Also, it was said in the episode, how one future might be extremely accurate is influenced by how much they believe that future will happen, but if they somehow managed to be convinced to believe another could happen and actually have that change happen, what power would that be? I mean, not only that, our ultra as of now, has some kind of protection against premonitions and can seemingly change the future by acting. I mean, that was only the 7th episode, there's still more to come. Last one, is falling hundreds of meters in the air, specifically, from the top of a tornado, would that mean Large building level dura?

1) It probably usually counts, but in some fictions characters are immune due to being more powerful.

2) Okay.

3) Probably, yes.

4) I am getting tired, and cannot indulge you much longer, but influencing a change in a prophecised future usually does not require any specific power. It is a property of the plot.

5) I do not know. Probably not. You would need a calculation.

Alright, that's that then. Apologies for the discomfort caused by my questions and with that, the matter is done.

Okay then. Should I close this thread?

Probably, it's sort of a very unnoticeable discussion thread of the verse at this point, but again, I'm not sure. Close the ultraman vs goku versus thread if you would, it's basically stomp by now.
