voting for the other guys to counter Psycho's vote

It came into my attention that SotT can actually use her magic without her staff, oopsies '-'. I need to clear out allll the votes and start all over again by the rules

You know, I think I might change my vote to the Guardian Corps due to superior AP and numbers, the Ubersreik have better abilities and are likely more skilled but overall I dont think its enough to overcome the difference of 5 people with each having like 2x higher AP.

I'll step in now that we've actually read the profiles, I think the Ubersreik folks are more skilled, but I think the skill difference is significantly exaggerated earlier in the thread. Tons of those feats come down to an AP difference, moreso than a skill one.

I think the abilities of the Ubersreik people are broadly more impressive, but they are at a noteworthy AP disadvantage, and are outnumbered. The Guardian Corps probably take this.

Numbers. Theorem.

Boris Todbringer, for instance, was torn apart by 9-Bs in the end, and though he didn't fight back that doesn't change his durability still being Town level. Felix early in his career was being threatened by several goblins despite already having some tier 8 stuff to his name. Ungrim in his Incarnate of Aqshy key was being damaged by his enemies before he went nuclear.

For as many times as it is shown that X thing is badass and armies can't keep them down, there are JUST as many occasions that it is shown that numbers can hurt a MFer in Warhammer Fantasy, and that even named characters have to be careful when they're not a spellcaster who can raise a hand and turn a city into a crater. Army solos are skill here, arguing otherwise is going against many, many, MANY instances to the contrary.

Also like, this is forgetting that U5 can literally be damaged by everything in the Vermintide games and that those 80 Khornate Chaos Warriors literally died in the end, even on a baseline matter, we have skill at play here.
Oh, and I'm downgrading their tier 6 nonsense.

I'm not forgetting that, I just don't think it dispels what I said. The Five are a lot (a lot stronger) than almost everyone they fight. They don't fight with particularly high end skill (they are skilled, but I'm talking like, ridiculous feats), they are just mostly way out of the league of anyone who fights them. This is counter balanced, as you say, by the fact that they get fought almost exclusively by hundreds to thousands of these lesser enemies at a time, plus maybe an equivalent foe every once in a while.

They're good at dealing with numbers, not so much when those numbers also out-AP them. I think it's a close fight but that they probably lose.

Funny thing about that Chaos Warrior feat. Nehekharah had it's tier 6 giant constructs at the time. Fighting things much stronger than them and winning isn't out of the question here, and a Heirotitan shooting lasers from it's eyes and opening portals to the underworld to zero a fool is certainly an effective thing to have.

And yeah, U5 are upscaling heavily from random CWs, to the point Kerillian calls them sloppy.

I'm sorry, Drite.
