The Roaring Knight Vs Sans - Deltarune Vs Undertale (18-14-1) (GRACE ENDED)

If that is so, then his stamina should last the entire fight. Since, we are considering the fact that he had to spam so much of his own abilities to get himself tired out.
Although technically, the sweat on his head only appears and disappears each time he dodges an attack

He can just teleport out of his way instead of conventional dodging can't he?
Same with the Knight
Although now that I think about it, I think like the Knight would just spam this attack without letting him breathe. It's unknown how fast it is, it just seems instantaneous. And it only uses it when stops holding back against the Delta Warriors, it has no reason not to use it in this scenario.
(Sans couldn't even attack it, since the Knight disappears in this scene)

Just seems like a conventional speed blitzing slash tbh. It does not come in overwhelming numbers, since they (the Knight) can't duplicate themselves.

It does not come in overwhelming numbers because it's not necessary in that fight. Here, on the other hand, it would do it constantly without any problem
And seeing that the Knight is not visible when it makes this move would make things even easier
Combine this with all the other arguments I made in this thread and done

You do realise a win via speed blitz would invalidate the match.

Okay, let's disregard the fact that it's instantaneous, that doesn't change the rest
You can't dodge an attack when you don't know where it's coming from
Then all of Sans wincons are invalidated due to this. An attack that's borderline instantaneous and cannot be perceived nor countered just simply converted this match into a total stomp.

Drat.

Huh
Well, that was fun
It's still unclear exactly what the Knight is doing in this attack, they might just be off-screen (Sans could see them), or perhaps Sans can dodge it unlike Ralsei and Susie
It's still debatable, or we can rule out this route altogether

A speed amp slash is what it is. They're practically warping.

You think it's amp slash?
Knight doesn't start with this one. He uses only after us surviving final attack(triggers at 80%HP). So Sans can kill it before triggering Swoon. But I don't think he gonna survive Roaring(name of Final attack)

@LittleGuy99 said they'd start off with that since that have no reason to hold back M8.

Does the Knight even have a stat amp listed on their profile? Why even take it as a stat amp and not the Knight just not holding back anymore (a.k.a. will be equalized to sans' speed in that case).

The instantaneous nature of the attack is pretty clear cut though. Sans has nothing to counter that.

The attack came from behind Susie and Ralsei, off-screen.

No. The Knight doesn't have Statistics Amplification on their profile

Idk. I don't think they would start with this one. Knight stops holding back after losing 20% of health, and attacks with roaring. Swoon is used only after that.
Based on what we know about Knight, I would say that their order of actions is following:
Danmaku(much more difficult than ones Sans faced) > 20% of health lost(opponents didn't die and can fight back) > roaring, sucking up opponent to death and pushing them back afterwards > opponents didn't die > SWOON.

The attack came from behind Susie and Ralsei, off-screen.
It knocks them back to the left, meaning attack was from the right.
The instantaneous nature of the attack is pretty clear cut though. Sans has nothing to counter that.
Match would be stomp if Sans had no way of killing Knight before SWOON. I argue that they can still kill it(just outmatched).

What do the rest of y'all think? Agree with the order or it's different?

Ah, I guess Sans does have a one shot thing going on.
he only has a 2.2 times advantage over the Knight's general value of 1.10 Tons and even then he still downscales from that value by a significant amount considering how he's more durable than both Moldsmal or Shyren (Both having 0 DEF compared to Sans' 1 DEF), two of which can be defeated by an LV1 Frisk who scales to 2.42 Tons of TNT that Sans also downscales from.
Whereas the Frisk that Sans fought during the Genocide Run scales to 7.28 Tons of TNT, which is 3 times stronger than the value he downscales from, and seeing how Sans was easily one-shotted by a single hit from Geno Frisk and how the Knight can one-shot those who scale to its own value...

don't really think Sans is capable of tanking the Knight's slash as one might think.

Tanking it as be scales higher than the Knight? Dodging it with his higher reactions?
Knight will geniunely rage quit and just summon Titan. And Sans Karma will be useless against its endless regeneration. He either would need to seal the fountain, or obliterate it completely, something that even DualBuster(combined magic of Susie and Gerson, boosted by SOUL) can't achieve

He can regen soul?
1. It's being made of darkness, it doesn't have soul.
2. If it had soul but not soul regen, it would have died from Fun Gang + Gaster soul damage
3. Sans still can use physical duraneg, but Titan will just absorb Titan spawns(produced by Fountain, that Sans can't seal) and continue fight

Yes... sans can as he still scales higher than the Knight in AP... plus the Durability Negation that pretty kills immediatly, imagine with AP advantage even

Knight will geniunely rage quit and just summon Titan.
He'll be dead before he does that, + If Sans is pushed, He'll rage quit and use his time stop + gaster blasters to immediatly blast the knight to death

The Knight doesn't summon a Titan in character, why assume he would now? Specially when... Sans wouldn't just let him do it?

We don't know that

2. If it had soul but not soul regen, it would have died from Fun Gang + Gaster soul damage
no? It wouldn't? That's not how their soul damage works? Still affected by durability

3. Sans still can use physical duraneg, but Titan will just absorb Titan spawns(produced by Fountain, that Sans can't seal) and continue fight
ANd sans will obviously just stand there and let the Knight summom the titan, yep

You overestimating Time stop significantly. Sans never put Frisk on undodgeable situation, Knight would just dodge(with its shape shifting and smaller size than Frisk Soul).

The Knight doesn't summon a Titan in character,
LMAO. Someone is playing Alphaglyph here
ANd sans will obviously just stand there and let the Knight summom the titan, yep
Sans will just see Knight piercing ground with swords. He isn't aware that such action will summon Titan. No reason to stop Knight from that action.

no? It wouldn't? That's not how their soul damage works? Still affected by durability
You misunderstood my point. Gerson and Susie do Soul damage, that decreases Soul HP. If Titan has Soul, it's Soul HP would have decreased from DualBuster. But it still regenerates from this damage, even if you bring it's HP to zero. You either need to obliterate it fully or seal it. Sans can't do this
