Elaine,The Protege needs to observe the power being in order to copy it and he cant instantly copy powers he needs to concentrate.The beyonder stated(Post-Retcon) that the protege didnt get all of his abilities.Elaine changed history just by talking,she erased forgotten gods without being anywhere near the realm it was in,she flew through hell and erased everything,she fused 3 multiverse togethera.All those she did just by willing no blast of power or anything,she's omnipresence,omniscience and her will held Creation together.
