Maria Akeboshi (Maria no Danzai) vs the Mimic (Vita_Carnis)

-Adult Mimic is used.
-Maria barely has prior knowledge of the Mimic (It's not human. It is good with stealth).
-The battle takes place in Patrick Bateman's apartment from American Psycho, both start with no line of sight.
-Maria has all her standard equipment except for traps and a car.
-Speed is equal.

Don’t know anything about either character at all but going off of profiles it seems the mimic has slightly better stealth considering the environment is a house, if it can hide itself using furniture it may (best case scenario) be able to get the first hit. However considering it doesn’t seem to be able to resist tasers or drugs and can be immobilized the same way a human can, I think Maria would ultimately take it thanks to equipment. Main win con for mimic is getting the first hit (with stealth and fake sounds) and hitting a vital organ with its body weaponry. Win con for Maria is pretty much just her using her equipment, also with an intelligence advantage. Would like to hear other arguments though as I am not knowledgeable on either character as I’ve said.

You say that like using her equipment on it would be at all easy. she knows it's inside the house, is good at hiding, and it isn't human. that doesn't give her even close to enough info where she could use her intelligence in a way that'd help find it.

this thing can fit inside pieces of furniture it really shouldn't be able to fit in. she'll likely get jumped after walking by a piece of furniture it was inside, where the fight would end instantly since her only advantage is her equipment and intelligence. (both of which are pretty useless in this context)

Unless anyone else brings in anything compelling I agree with this then, good argument. Mimic does have the advantage of auditory misdirection as well which wouldn’t help her case.

Huh. Maybe I should've seen that before making this thread. Perhaps I should give Maria general prior knowledge... Then again, that probably won't help much.
