following. not sure how the courier can get through all those souls alucard has.

He could get through by using social influencing and just convince Alucard to not fight him, he is likely to open with this either that or VATS

whats the chances alucard will listen to him? i know courier has quite the luck-based feats

Don't know much of hellsing, will check some of his fights but if he engages in dialog that helps Courier's odds there

iirc he doesn't usually talk to his opponent unless he actually knows them, or sees them as a sack of shit. (vampires, zombies, etc)

Since alucard doesn't know the courier, chances are he opens up with his pistols.

Well Courier has talked down people that have drawn weapons and were pissed off at them (You can shoot a memorial that has a guy's brother's name written on it and he pulls a gun on you for it.) so there's that. Plus they've gotten out of being assaulted by a gang of raiders who all were packing weapons and had them ready.

Plus Courier has those crazy feats of luck that include surviving a point blank headshot and cleaning out entire casinos with legit gambling, it could allow him to have a cleaner conversation. Imo if the Courier can get even a sentence out he should be able to get out of it.

If Alucard opens a dialogue with the Courier, he loses. They've pretty much talked down every kind of mindset imaginable that isn't a straight up Eldritch Abomination that a human can't even comprehend.
