Aren't we dealing with Shadow of Mordor Talion and not Shadow of War? He has no ring yet.
In regards to the spirit thing.
Let's put it this way. Talion vs Doctor Strange. Strange puts his hand on Talion's chest then shoves Celebrimbor out of him.
Geralt can't do that. If he aard's Talion, Celebrimbor isn't going to go flying out. Same with yrden. Whenever a possessed individual steps inside a yrden circle, Geralt can't separate them from the host. At best is that a yrden circle means what he does will impact both Talion and Celebrimbor but that's not really taking advantage of the weakness Talion needs Celebrimbor to continue living.
Whenever Geralt forced the miasma out, he did it after defeating Reinald in combat.
I mean detecting Celebrimbor should be easy enough. Most of Talion's attacks involve him glowing in some way which should reveal Celebrimbor's presence. But Geralt doesn't have a way of separating the two without first defeating Talion in a straight fight.
