Superman(Post Crisis) vs Cell

I'd like to say something. Cell's FIGHTING speed is at least FTL + maybe MFTL.
I know there's a calc saying Superman's fighting speed is MFTL. But it was literally stated (and showed) his fighting speed was officially described as "slower than the speed of light":

The problem with Superman is if we had to do a graph to show Superman's fighting speed evolution, the curve would obviously be jagged. If one day it was "1" (1 being speed of light), tomorrow it can be 0.1 just as it can be 100 or more. Sometimes his fighting speed can have indeed MFTL levels just as it can be slower than light.
Even if we treat it as MFTL (which is normal since it's his maximum potencial) and if we treat Cell as nearly MFTL (which is certainly the case considering Cell is a LOT stronger, faster and more durable than namek Frieza), how exactly can Superman damage Cell considering his durability is Solar system level (not to mention his high level of Regenerationn).
Also Cell is very intelligent and cunning. So he can easily understand Superman's powers comes from the sun. Unlike Goku if he sees he is losing he'll use dirty tricks to win (to the point he can self destruc for example), so he can his shunkan ido to take superman on a planet with no yellow sun. But of course that's a scenario where Cell is losing agaisnt Superman, and I don't see why he would lose against someone who has durability AND attack potency level that are inferior to his own level of attack potency and durability.
Also not only cell has a very strong level of Regenerationn, but in addition to that, let's not forget he can use a technique called "perfect barrier" (in video games. it's doesn't have a name in the anime/manga) which is basically a giant ki shield (easily 100 m) that is strong enough to protect him against cell game saga SSJ Goku's ki attacks (and he used that when he when "only" perfect Cell. As Super perfect cell it's certainly more powerful). So even if Superman uses his intangibility if Cell uses the "perfect barrier" Superman will be automatically pushed back when he'll be tangible (and he needs to be if he wants to attack Cell).
