Superman Mind Hax resistance

Right, so I've heard from multiple people varying opinions on the degree of Superman's Mind Hax.

I'd also like to know more about the Parallax feat Rep posted in the Luke vs Supes thread if that's alright Weekly says he was affected but the scans Rep posted had him resisting him so i'd Like some additional context

Superman resisting Mr Mxy's mind hax being an outlier, everything else is fine I guess. The points in the Supes vs Luke thread was that Superman has had problems and it has been painful to resist mind manip of other characters.

Edit: If you don't then why did you make a thread of something that it's his profile?

In Superman #29, Parallax attempts to possess Superman by preying on his fear for the children's safety. he fails. Parallax does manage to possess Superman later, but only after the latter intentionally lets him in to bargain for the children's safety.

In the following issue, Parallax escapes and tries to devour Superman. Superman simply pulls out the Yellow Lantern Ring he pulled off of Sinestro's finger and traps Parallax within it.

For context, Parallax is the Yellow Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum's avatar and thus the living embodiment of fear.

Honestly, regarding the Supes vs Luke thread, any character with high levels of mind hax chances are is not gonna be mind haxed, seeing as even highly trained non-force sensitives can briefly resist ******* Mace Windu's mind hax.

Superman may not be immune to mind hax, but Luke is gonna have to concentrate for a lengthy period of time to mindhax him. What, is Superman just gonna stand/stay suspended in midair while his mind gets infiltrated? No, he's gonna be reducing Luke to paste.


On topic, I agree with Js, but it should be noted that it takes great strain (similar to when he got almost got turned into a demon)
