The feat of how he sneezed and destroyed a solar system is somewhat incorrect, as the sneeze was caused by Mr.Mxyzptlk's abilites, who could have and most likely did effect the sneeze.

No it wasn't. Nothing of the scene implies that, that's just a headcanon invented to downplay Superman in that scene.

Mxy's magic made Superman sneeze. So he flew to another, long-dead universe to safely sneeze, and in doing so destroyed a solar system.

And even if you don't accept that, he was still blowing out giant stars with his super breath, so the concept of his sneezes being able to destroy Solar Systems isn't exactly that crazy.
