Let’s waste no time and cut to the chase, starting with additions.

Mario And Luigi : (Optional equipment)
Limited Power mimicry Bruh its Pm not AF but aight

Attack reflection
: With Kings Wear, the two can mimic equal damage an enemy does to either Mario or Luigi, so it only copies AP albeit "sometimes copies"

Speed amplification: With Speed scarf, speed increases by 10% and Speed Scard DX, speed increases with 20%

Speed amplification: With: Blue Pepper

Resistance to illusions (?): As they can navigate through the forest of illusions:

Removals:
So we currently have speed amps for every character in mario kart, however.

(Speed Amplification (With the Dash Mushroom, which can greatly amplify Mario's speed, and the Golden Dash Mushroom, which is a more potent variant of the Dash Mushroom. He can also transform into a Bullet Bill, which is of comparable speed, if not faster, to the Golden Dash Mushroom)

its the car being amped, not the character. And the amp itself is incredibly limited as it lasts for a second. We don't know if the characters can use it anyways.

Adjustments
Peach’s sealing is fair, it, i guess counts. But it should be limited, as the opponents are just there temporarily and the seal ends after some seconds.

That's about it, thank you.

Agree: HyperTornado099 (except power mimicry) Mr. Bambu (except power mimicry/resistance to illusions) ShakeResounding, (except power mimicry and FoI) IDK3465 (except power mimicry and FoI) LordGriffith, DDM
Disagree:
Neutral: (Smh fence sitting centrists.)

This is either attack reflection, damage transferal or damage boost, not mimicry
"Sometimes lets you deal equal damage to an enemy that damages you."
Seems straight forward mimicry no? Maybe even both? It's the two that can mimic/copy the damage that was dealt to them. But I can agree with the ability being damage transferal as well.

I would similarly agree it isn't Power Mimicry. I'd call it Attack Reflection above anything else, it's nearly 1:1.

You have speed amp twice, not sure if that's an error.

They don't resist the illusions in the forest of illusion. You just can traverse it.

Otherwise, I accept the thread.

I agree with most of the additions and the removals, aside from the Forest of Illusion.

For the Kings Wear, I think Attack Reflection does work to a certain extent and would simply need to be clarified in the hax's description.

Nice work!

I agree with everyone else that the Kings Wear is attack reflection more than anything. Also I disagree with the illusion thing

Otherwise, I agree.

you're in need of a second staff member.

Ignoring the stuff that's crossed out, everything looks fine except for the resistance to illusions, they'd need to actually be able to see through the illusions.

Is it too late to suggest Invincibility Leaf and Invincibility Bell as Optional Equipment ?

The former can only be obtained if you lose 5 times in a level and the latter is amiibo exclusive

To my knowledge, no. Speed amps did get removed but I didnt check for anything else.

speed amps for Mario and Luigi
Limited Attack Reflection for Mario and Luigi
peach sealing needs to be renamed to "limited sealing"
Those are the proposed & accepted changes? If so, I currently know of no reason to oppose & thus tentatively approve them.

Hi, sorry if this is a bit too late (especially since I noticed such a thread only now!), but I feel the removal of the Mario Kart items might have been a bit misguided. Whilst at first it might seem like Mario Kart items would be limited to use for the Karts themselves, it forgets just how sprawling the Super Mario franchise really is! These items are iconic, so it would be wrong to assume they are simply exclusive items to the racing series and not seen elsewhere without a double check.

The idea that Mushrooms provide a speed boost is not limited to Mario Kart entries, an easy example being in Mario Power Tennis where a Mushroom item “increases your movement speed for a short while” as noted in the manual. Likewise, the Golden Dash Mushroom appears in Mario & Sonic, providing a speed boost for the user who runs into it. Whilst this may seem like a worse use than in Mario Kart, note that the driver keeps it in their inventory or holds it in their hand to give them multiple uses, whilst in this example, it was merely a one-time use and they didn’t hold onto it. It shouldn’t be a stretch to say they can still hold onto it to use it to their full potential (for instance, it’s been an item they can hold onto in their inventory in Mario Party titles, and we can visibly see it in the user’s hands, not the Kart, at times) for themselves. At the very least, it proves Dash Mushrooms and Golden Dash Mushrooms don’t exclusively work on Karts and have been seen giving their perks to users on-foot as well.

To elaborate on the idea of Mushrooms and speed being associated, Star Sprint from Mario Party 6 also introduces the Metal Mushroom, which very blatantly increases the speed of the user (on-foot!). Likewise, Dash Mushrooms have appeared as items in Mario Party titles, increasing the result of a dice block by +3 regularly and +5 as the Golden variant. Whilst not exactly a speed increase here, it builds on the narrative that Dash Mushrooms help to “make the distance” in general, rather than this being some property you’d only hear of in Karting games.

As for Bullet Bill, I’m not sure why this would be seen as something only affecting the Kart, when every entry they’ve appeared as an item in visibly transforms the driver as well. It wouldn’t make much sense to say it was “the car and not the character” here. This one’s rather simple, since it feels more like an uphill battle to say it’s solely the Kart than to say the affected character wasn’t affected.

Once again, sorry for being EXTREMELY last second, but I think this removal should be given another look at before it goes through, even if it needs some changes (I don’t mind helping to draft that) to how the P&A is described/justified, as the reasoning for the removal given just doesn’t reflect what the series has shown us when you take a deeper look at the items.

Agree witt everything LuckyEmile said above.

Just need to apply the change to Peach's profile and the removal to the Mario Bros'.
I'd argue the removal might be misguided, as the wider series has shown us that these items can be used by the characters themselves, so maybe we should reassess that and perhaps consider rewording it a little to avoid the confusion to our readers the current wording as caused?
