This is largely irrelevant, though.
The point is that two-times gaps and gaps of even smaller value are stomp-worthy in Dragon Ball.

Kaio-ken = Kaio-ken x2
 
people need to get out of their heads the idea that stomps are only possible with a ridiculous difference in power.
They also need to get into their heads that stomps gaps are not universally accepted across all media. One author might think a 50% increase is enough for a stomp, for example
