Sub-civilization/Army/Country fights?

Is it allowed to have fights with something less than entire Civilization yet more than 2 characters? E.G:

• Army detachment of far larger military (E.G. USA Marine Battalion, WH40K Space Marine Chapter, etc)
• A single country or alliance of far larger civilization (e.g. Luxembourg, Poland, Russia, NATO, a space opera planet belonging to space government, etc)

As a general rule, the rules for what versus threads can be made are fairly flexible. The more strict part is which threads can be added to profiles.

I meant a team profile or army profile, not a civilisation profile.

I meant, can i have battle with team or army belonging to civilization, rather than the entire civilization as a whole?

No such profile exists. We can't use any entity that lacks a profile.
