I'll vote for Bruce Lee because he has killed people bare-handed, it is quite hard to beat a normal person to death (Lee has killed trained martial artists, aka people trained to be beaten massively).

I know that Bruce isn't allowed to kill here, but that should show how strong he can punch and kick.

Ip-Man is going to be a nightmare to take down tho, considering he has also defeated dozens of opponents and took punches from a guy who could easily shatter glass.

I wouldn't count out Ip-Man so easily. One of the fodder enemies he fought was capable of denting a metal border with one of his kicks, and Ip had no trouble blocking blows from him. He also took hits from and then won against a guy who beat another trained martial artist to death (Twister), so that's another reason to believe that they're not so different physically.

Composite Lee is stronger, I'll wager. But I get the feeling Ip-Man is the more skilled of the two. Forgetting about the fact that he's actually made his own series' version of Bruce Lee look like a damn fool (because let's face it, that guy doesn't compare to the genuine article), doing this without even trying is kind of a big deal, and beating a sword-wielding martial artist with nothing but a featherduster is an even bigger deal. He also fights characters stronger than himself quite regularly, though Composite Lee might be a step above some of the other more notable guys that Ip has faced in his series. Bruce's figthing style was also depicted as being extremely hard to predict/anticipate in all of his old films, so that's another point in his favor.

I'll probably settle for inconclusive for now, though. The match is really close, and both characters have some distinct advantages over each other.

They have pretty similar feats, Bruce Lee have a really "versatile" combat style, but Ip-Man is more instantaneous and more technical i think.. He have the "Mushin" mental state or something like this making him able to fight with more skill and precision than Lee.

This fight would be really awesome, but i think than Ip-Man could win 55/45 %

1 - 1 - 1.

Also, they seem to be pretty equal in the stamina department.

man thats a tough match. i am leaning towards IP-Man but that might just be due to having rewatched the movies just recently and having been mighty impressed how he bulldozers his way through anything and anyone.

to not give a biased judgement i vote for inconclusive. if they team up, the world is toast however.
