Spider-Man General Discussion

Honestly there's some hidden tragedy to the Wall
Imagine just being a regular student one day and suddenly turning into a living wall, poor lad doesn't even have arms he has to swing his entire body around to hit people

At least he is 9-B. Wall, 9-B Spider-Man, THE WALL CURSED SPIDER MAN AT 9-B

I don't think Spider-Man ever hits the Wall, nor does the Wall hit him
So he does not scale to the Wall
Actually would it be possible to calculate the KE of the Wall swinging around like that? It's pretty much his only way of attack

Not necessarily "because 70s" but because unfortunately those episodes haven't been re-released in like forever, so the best quality you get is VHS or CVR quality from someone recording them in their old TVs.

Are there any calcs for this Spidey you still need me to evaluate, "Aguywho"?

Oh wait since these are Spidey Super Stories... I wonder if the page could include a key for the episode version and the comics version?

Either a key or a different page could work imo
"Thomas and Salicrup remarked that the comic was subject to an exceptionally high level of editorial scrutiny, as staff from both Marvel Comics and the Children's Television Workshop reviewed the stories to ensure they were faithful to the Electric Company and Marvel Comics casts"

"During the early years, a comic book version of one of The Electric Company Spidey skits was included. A truncated version also appeared in The Electric Company Magazine. In contrast to the live-action segments on The Electric Company, Spidey often appeared out of costume as Peter Parker."

"Other stories in the issue would feature regular characters from The Electric Company, such as Easy Reader and detective Fargo North, Decoder, with Spidey as a supporting character; conversely, The Electric Company characters would sometimes appear as supporting characters in the Spidey-centric stories."

-from the Spidey Super Stories Wikipedia page.

I think we can keep it as a separate key then, for a proper "Spider-Man (The Electric Company)" page.

The comics do have some crazy stuff here and there.

Alright makes sense, should i not publish the page until some feats from the comics are calced then?

The only thing that's coming to mind right now, which is a serious high end, is Doom surviving the explosion of the Star Jaws in issue 31. They say it's a million tons of TNT but the explosion destroys the Star Jaws which is big enough to swallow the Earth.

I'll go through them, collecting feats, when I'm able.

Since the star jaws was going to "eat up Earth" i think it'd be fair to assume they're at least equal in size, so that's a radius of 6371000m
Volume = 4/3 x π x 6371000m^3 = 1083206916845753700547.11m3
Assuming 90% hollowness the volume is 108320691684575370054.711m3 or 108320691684575370054711000cm3
Fragmentation of steel is 208J
108320691684575370054711000cm3 x 208J = 22530703870391676971379888000 joules or 5.3849 Exatons (Multi-Continent level)

Oh trust me it's bigger than that

But rather than simply calculate random feats at a random order, we should preferably go issue by issue looking for feats and listing them down.

Btw yeah there's 4th wall breakage in the Electric Company shorts.
