I never saw anything like that, but I think it would be FTL since colors are just that.

Really? I know at least more than a couple of series that do that, and yeah, it's always treated as FTL but wanted to confirm if there is a concrete number or something like that.

Don't think so, colors are just light on your bodies, you need to be too fast for light to not reach you ever.
