Speed for a handheld railgun? I'm not as sure about that as with a regular railgun, but I do know that quite a lot can fire at speeds of more than 560 mph. Not sure if that's the norm, though.

There's this one Railgun for the Navy that shoots at over 5,000 MPH, or Mach 7 give or take.
