Speed Revision for KN8

Yep, a speed downgrade for the characters of Kaiju No. 8.

Due to this thread, things have change regarding scaling flight/travel speed to reactions and thus combat speed and have been applied to the Speed Page. It is as follow:

If a character travels or flies very fast through a very empty terrain, in which it doesn't necessarily have to react to sudden obstacles, the speed in question is travel or flight speed, but not necessarily reaction speed. In order for it to also be reaction speed, and the speed in total hence applying to the character's combat speed, the character either must have demonstrated the ability to react to sudden obstacles while traveling at this speed, have a calculation made that supports the character having corresponding reaction speed/time or otherwise demonstrate having comparable reactions.

Unfortunately, the Wyvern Kaiju does not apply to this. Their speed calc is basically them going to point A to Point B on a straight line with no obstacle in their path. Even when dealt with a surprise obstacle, in the form of Reno's shooting at one of them, they did not react to it and got hit. So, it is probably best to have that feat scale only to Wyvern Kaiju's flight speed. Though this means that most of the characters in the verse will need to be revised but since it is only 11 people atm, it won't be that difficult.

After looking through the other calculations on the Verse Page (because we got a lot of speed calcs lol), I have created a draft on what the speed rating would be like:

• Kafka Hibino

Speed: Subsonic reactions and combat speed (Without his Defense Force Suit, he could react to bullets at this speed. With his Defense Force Suit, he should be much faster), Transonic to Supersonic+ attack speed with firearms (Uses weapons based on the HKVP9 and Modern Armalite Ar 15) | Supersonic (Is too fast for No. 9 to react to, hitting it with a barrage of punches and preventing it from making distance or escaping. Could keep up, react and dodge attacks from 92% Soshiro Hoshina despite the vice-captain going hard at him) | Supersonic (Should be faster than Kafka using its Kaiju body)

Key: Human [1%] | Kaiju (Under Kafka's Control) | Kaiju (Under No. 8's Control)

• Mina Ashiro

Speed: Varies, up to Supersonic (Should be faster than Soshiro Hoshina due to being able to release 96% of her suit's power), Transonic to Hypersonic+ attack speed with firearms (Uses weapons based on the HKVP9 and Modern Armalite Ar 15. The bullets fired from the Cannon T-25101985 are this fast)

• Soshiro Hoshina

Speed: Subsonic with Supersonic reactions (At an unknown limit, he can move with such quickness that 1% Kafka could not see his movements despite looking directly at him. Should be faster than 55% Kikoru due to being able to release 63% of his suit's power) | Supersonic (Perform this feat)

Key: 63% | 92%

• Kikoru Shinomiya

Speed: Subsonic combat speed (Should be much faster than Human Kafka Hibino, who could react to bullets without his Defense Force Suit) with Supersonic reactions (Perceived No. 9's blasts' preparatory movement and managed to focus her shield on a single point quick enough to avoid a fatal injury), Transonic to Supersonic+ attack speed with firearms (Uses weapons based on the HKVP9 and Modern Armalite Ar 15) | Superhuman (Can move this fast), Subsonic combat speed with Supersonic reactions (Superior to the speed of her 46%)

Key: 46% | 55%

• Reno Ichikawa

Speed: Subsonic reactions and combat speed (Should be much faster than Human Kafka Hibino, who could react to bullets without his Defense Force Suit), Transonic to Supersonic+ attack speed with firearms (Uses weapons based on the HKVP9 and Modern Armalite Ar 15) | Subsonic reactions and combat speed (Superior to the speed of his 8%)

Key: 8% | 18%

• Kaiju No. 9

Speed: Subsonic (Can speed blitzed 18% Reno Ichikawa) with Supersonic reactions and combat speed (Can react and block a bullet at this speed)

• Kaiju No. 10

Speed: Subsonic with Supersonic reactions (Fast enough to elude the eyes of a combatant of Soshiro's caliber when not utilizing his Maximum Combat Power not once but twice who, at an unknown limit, can move with such quickness that 1% Kafka could not see his movement. Should likely be faster than 55% Kikoru Shinomiya) | Subsonic with Supersonic reactions (Should not be slower than before)

• Wyvern type Kaiju

Speed: Unknown, Supersonic flight speed (Able to fly this fast)

• Isao Shinomiya

Speed: Supersonic (Can speed blitz Human Kafka and attack him without him even noticing. Capable of dodging attacks from out-of-control Kaiju No. 8, and his speed allows him to keep up with and fight equally with the daikaiju)

• Iharu Furuhashi

Speed: Subsonic reactions and combat speed (Should be much faster than Human Kafka Hibino, who could react to bullets without his Defense Force Suit), Transonic to Supersonic+ attack speed with firearms (Uses weapons based on the HKVP9 and Modern Armalite Ar 15) | Subsonic reactions and combat speed (Superior to the speed of his 14%)

Key: 14% | 20%

• Haruichi Izumo

Speed: Subsonic reactions and combat speed (Should be much faster than Human Kafka Hibino, who could react to bullets without his Defense Force Suit), Transonic to Supersonic+ attack speed with firearms (Uses weapons based on the HKVP9 and Modern Armalite Ar 15) | Subsonic reactions and combat speed (Superior to the speed of his 18%) | Subsonic reactions and combat speed (Superior to the speed of his 25%)

Key: 18% | 25% | 36%
