Specimen 9 vs Arch-vile: Halloween in September!

S9 relatively easily. More allies means more potential dead bodies to TAKE, allowing it to grow in power. It can likely absorb dead bodies before the Arc-Vile can resurrect them. It also got regen and type 2, making it harder to deal with. Its own summoning could also someone help out against the Arch-Vile's own summoning. Finally, flight means it can be out of reach for a chunk of the Arch-Vile's summons and thus snipe them with its own summons and projectiles.
 
S9's Perception Manip is kinda shit tier compared to other Specimen though. At best it will inconvenience the Arch-Vile, but it's no winning factor, especially compared to its Regenerationn.
 
Unless the Arch-vile gets beefed up massively in DOOM: Eternal, I don't see it winning against this thing.

Yeah, Specimen 9 is has more powers and a moderate AP advantage, only chance that the Vile has is summoning but there's the risk that its summonings are absorbed by S-9. Going to vote for S-9
