I think Goku should take this, AP advantage and can increase it with SSJ forms, would probably dodge or blast away the ectoplasm shots more likely than not, and can bypass his cores regen with a big enough blast like he did with Cooler who had the same regen as Fright Knight's core. Taking over Goku's body after his core is destroyed doesn't seem combat applicable either.

@Lord that only scaled for SSJ3 Goku. Lower forms scale to Broly's feat which I can't find the calc of because link is broken.

I think you are mistaken about Possession. Fright Knight has the standard possession like all ghosts. They fly into the persons body and take over. They can't take over bodies after their core is destroyed because they are destroyed so of course he can't possess Goku once he's destroyed.

That doesn't state it only scales to SSJ3 Goku.

Yes, if Goku shattered Fright Knight's core, he would half to put all his focus on restoring it so he wouldn't be able to try and possess Goku. However Goku has the AP needed to overcome said Regenerationn so once his central core is gone, Fright Knight will be no more.

Fright Knight doesn't uses Possession (let alone the infection one) in character though so I doubt he'd even bother to attempt it during the fight.
