For no reason in particular, how does “Pierce” from the Shin Megami Tensei series work and how potent is the ability?

Well, IIRC, it's some sort of resistance negation skill.

Almighty negates resistance to Invulnerability, Absorption, Attack Reflection & Forcefield Creation, and Resistances.

Should the opponent resist Almighty, Pierce pierces Almighty resistances.

Pierce is Resistance Negation, and the Sonic (SMT) profile wouldn't be allowed.

Weird, considering the myriad of other useless gacha profiles and similar that offer basically nothing new compared to their original versions.

Whether SMT Sonic is allowed here or not in the end, a simple "he wouldn't be allowed" and letting that be that isn't enough.

I mean, we got rid of the SMT versions of Guts and Nero, so I wouldn't be surprised if SMT Sonic gets rejected.
