Mario w/ 70+ stars should have a resistance to spatial manipulation. With that amount, he can bypass Bowser’s infinite distance magic on the endless stairs. This can also be applied to anyone who can collect that many stars (so…Luigi, Wario, and Yoshi).

Bowser wanted to face Mario after he had that many stars, against Wario, Luigi and Yoshi he only wants to face Mario and uses the spatial manip again, them being affected by it regardless of their stars.

This is pretty wrong and it's against the rules making this type of CRTs w/o evidence.

Checked to be sure, and it only allows Mario yeah, so I agree with Eficiente.

Not sure if this is really resistance, and more so Bowser just allowing him access; as in the DS version he outright states he will only fight Mario.

I got the quote here:

“You've found 70 Power Stars! The mystery of the endless stairs is solved, thanks to you--and is Bowser ever upset! Now, on to the final bout!”

is this line in 64 DS?

I always saw that as something not to look too hard on, as I don't think the map's canon. What happens is that Mario goes up stairs 1, 2 and 3 and at one point a copy of them is placed at the end, and so on, so the map would take it as Mario being in 1 when he's in the second set of 1, 2 and 3 and so on, it doesn't mean he got literally teleported from 3 to 1, he's in a new set of 1, 2 and 3 and this is how the map portrays it.

If this was alone, it would be power null, or a gimmick of the power Bowser used, or a resistance at best, all not based on what it says, but what we can reasonably assume from it. It's not alone, it legit cannot be a resistance as other people can't resist it, Bowser just made it so that having that many stars would remove that power or he did it himself. That's the mystery being solved, he's upset because Mario keeps getting back the stars he stole. It's simple.

Yeah I don't see how this is a resistance. The fact only Mario was allowed in DS is also super strange to me. Cause it definitely is still infinite for the others.
