BB murder case is. it's prequel to the death note, which bb case was talked about a little in the manga and anime as well.

L change the world is a what if, though inside it, there are some stuff about past as well which can be canon.

I honestly think that he should just receive a regular "Genius" rating, given his complete lack of feats of anywhere near L's scale.

That seems better. I don't even know why he got "at least Genius" stat. I'd say because of his plan(overrated), or being the best student in japan + his social stats?

Even then Genius seems more suitable.

Although Light's revealed feats aren't as unrealistically great as those of L, Light is written as having comparable intelligence to L regarding their battle of wits. L in his internal dialogue – meaning he wasn't lying – considered Light as suspicious early on due to being "too perfect." To use the strategy of keeping an enemy close under the guise of asking for assistance is why L recruited Light on the Kira investigation team in the first place. (Source: Death Note, Volume 3: Chapter 19, Humiliation.) L also sometimes claims Light can do the same odd feats he can do, like when L adds "you could do it too" when saying he can pilot a helicopter based on intuition alone. (Source: Death Note, Volume 6: Chapter 52, Split-Second) L, who is now ranked as Extraordinary Genius, seems to consider Light as basically as smart as him, therefore Light should be ranked "possibly Extraordinary Genius."

To clear up a few things:

• A lot of people claim L is a lot smarter than Light because Light had to use multiple Death Notes, multiple Shinigami, and Misa having the Shinigami Eyes to counter L, who was successfully figuring out some rules of Death Notes without even knowing they exist. However, a lot of people forget that Light's assistances were double-edged swords, and Misa was outright more of a liability than a help. Additionally, Light without his memories of Death Notes believed he had deduced the rules alongside L, when he had in fact pretended to do so due to being Kira at the time.
• A lot of Light's anti-feats come from how his emotions sometimes get in the way. These are weaknesses, not implications of an intelligence level ceiling.
