Should Boomerangs qualify as Homing Attack?

i'm also not in favor of calling it "homing"
it doesn't aim like a homing missile or DnD's Magic Missile
like, it's a projectile that if working properly, will be useful like every other regular one (an arrow, f.e.) but will do blunt damage instead of piercing (or explosion) and come back in the direction it was thrown from.
and it's also not impossible to imagine a Boomerang being given the "homing" property, it's not like that property is redundant to him, like a homing missile would be, for example

yeah, but "homing attack" is, afaik, for the hit part, not for coming back to the user/original thrown spot

I see your point, but it feels very iffy to give it Homing Attack. While under certain circumstances and with appropriate technique it certainly is sort of like it, I feel like that isn't the spirit of the page.

If homing attack was little bit more loose in definition for projectiles/weapons that return to the user then maybe.

If a boomerang has a non-realistic ability to come back to you I'd consider that Weapon Control.
