Shock Nullification Not Absorption?

All For One clearly states that his quirk is nullification of shock which is a clear difference to absorption. In All Might's fight against Nomu All Might states that because Nomu's quirk is shock absorption and not nullification he is able to exceed the amount that Nomu absorbs.

This very little difference is extremely important in how both quirks work. Another thing is that we don't know if All For One's nullification is passive (probably isn't since United States of Smash happened).

The fight with Nomu was a very genius set up and foreshadowing of what All For One used against All Might.

So the change is very simple for the profile, All For One simply nullifies Shock regardless of the amount (it's not NLF if that's literally what nullifying means and is what All Might was implying against Nomu).

All For One gave away his Absorption to the Nomu and used nullification against All Mighht instead

It's absolutely NLF. If a character states that he is "invulnerable" or "immune" we only give them immunity to whatever they have been shown to resist. While Noumu took less damage from All Might's attacks, such a nullification would be assumed to null shock-based attacks up to All Might's level. We absolutely cannot assume that a planet busted or similarly powerful blunt force user would just fail against the ability because it is called "nullification".

"So the change is very simple for the profile, All For One simply nullifies Shock regardless of the amount"

That's extremely NLF actually.

That's what All Might was implying against Nomu. That the only reason he was able to beat Nomu was because there was a limit to absorbing and that if it was nullification that wouldn't be the case.

That's just that as the show presents it. The fact that nullification as a word was used proves to be a past set up in the story.

So yeah ok I get that it is but that's exactly what is presented. That shock is nullified because it's shock not because an amount is presented.

Prove that his quirk is based on amount and not simply on what it's nullifying.

There is a limit to nullification. For absorption, the attack still hurts because it is aborbwd by the body. Absorbed because the energy was spread throughout the body in a less damage way. For example, if not absorbed an attack deals 100 damage. Absorbed it does 5. Nulled it does 0. However there is no guarantee that an attack that deals 1000 damage will fall to a 0, but rather only fall to 900.

Now, call me crazy, but shouldn't that logic make All Might's AP being multiplied due to taking only 5 hits to defeat Nomu at his peak null?

Yeah. Considering Shock Absorption has a set limit of what it can block, even a minor AP boost would make a drastic and extreme difference.

You know at least you gave an actual reasonable answer to the nullification part of the argument. I'm done here this can be closed.

All the other people responded to you just fine and simply said it was NLF, they even mention it doesn't nullify it in the series.
