Piccolo's main factor is his Regen. Unless Shazam "Nappa"s Piccolo with electricity, I don't see him winning. However, that scenario isn't uncommon. Shazam is just as smart and haxless along with Piccolo.

Wisdom but in what sense.It could make Shazam very book smart but not battle hardend like Piccolo.

Ether way Piccolo is still fighting someone who acts like a child.

Piccolo's healing factor got better as the series went on since in the Buu saga he was turned to stone then broken and still goku back up.

Gohan acts like a child too. Doesn't stop him from getting serious in a fight like Capn. Marvel. Esp. since he's a guy who goes against the bloodthirsty Black Adam on a regular. And CM has seen just as many if not more fights than Piccolo. And I'm not sure about getting better regen. That doesn't seem like an ability that gets better. More like getting broken didn't destroy his heart. MAYBE. I haven't finished, or even really started the Buu Saga. So that last part might, and probably is, wrong.

I'm not saying he can't be serious but that he can't put what he knows to use. Can CM think up stratagies on the fly like Piccolo does, does he analize his opponents to the tenth degree like Piccolo.Piccolo has delt with a kid his entire life so figuring out what he can do to exploit that side of CM won't be to hard.

Teasing to the point of rage so that his attacks become more predictable is just one example.

I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm was just stating my uncertainty. And the scan showed me that piccolo can be killed by targeting the head, which is a common thing to do (to target the head). And piccolo won't know that Captain Marvel is a kid. The whole Justice league didn't know he was a kid. That includes Superman Batman the Flash and Martian Manhunter. All who are smarter than Piccolo. And it's more likely than not that he can be a strategist.

I red it and the majority of the negatives were him expressing his opinion(even when he knew it was the wrong choice) or doing something before he had the knowlege to make a inforemed desicion and others were just poor writing.

If you want a prime example of Piccolo's intelligence watch his fight with frost or read that manga chapter because that shows you much hes grown.

Could you informe if CM usually makes stratagies when fighting because I've watched a lot of the DC movies and series as well as some comic books and CM is never refered to as the smart one.
