The thing about this is.
Hydro Pump is an absolute problem in this situation. I can't see Jaws working his way around that easily when it's a huge torpedo or water coming at him.

Yep plus Magikarp would resist the flamethrower. However, Jaws has the AP and dura advantage IIRC so if Jaws closes the gap first he bites and wins
