Self plagarism exists. What do we do.

I was following the RVR thread and Mr Bambu stated the common sense that we can't plagarize ourselves.

Does this matter, or not like Bambu said?

it couldn't be defined as "plagiarism" since they are not taking any words or ideas from someone else.

Apparently, it exists on 2 basises in academic circles.

In both cases, the systems used for detecting plagarism rely on an algorthm.

If anything, it's not true plagarism at all. sounds like fun and games material to make from.
